It was close to the worse meal I have ever had. The menu is very limited and everything tasted the same as if it was all dipped in the same batter and deep fried in the same fryer. It was $72 for two meals which was outrageous for food we could barely eat. The Gumbo was pretty good though.

This used to be our go to place when in the area. We frequented the area for more than 10 years.The food was good, portions were good (meals came with soup or salad and you were not limited to one item per order) pricing was spot on. Ron was his usual friendly spirited self. The wife/co owner has always been and will continue to be a discredit to the establishment. Rude, gloomy, unhappy looking. Over the years, we noticed quality and quantity changed. Ron did not change nor did sour face. Because of her. we decided to not patronize Cajun Connection.

We had the Special at this place tonight and it was AMAZING!! Fantastic food, fantastic service, and a great atmosphere - couldn't be better!! The Lobster Sensation Etoufee over Blackened Catfish with Bubba Shrimp had the perfect spice ot it, and was incredibly delicious!

Cajun Ron has awesome gumbo, jambalaya, etouffee, gator and more!! Everything was sooo good! Best Cajun food anywhere! Restaurant is spotless, with friendly service! We also brought home some frozen gumbo for later! You should get some today!

The best Cajun restaurant around. Ron's Louisiana dishes are the best . Having lived in Louisiana for awhile I was so happy when this restaurant opened. He is a wonderful asset to the Illinois Valley area. Anyone looking for great authentic Cajun cooking visit the Cajun Connection!!!!!
