Capponi's has been a beloved tradition for my family for decades. The fried chicken, steak, and appetizers are always a hit, but my personal favorites are the tortellini and spaghetti. The drive may be long, but the delicious food and warm ambiance make it worth every mile.

I was raised on italian food. My Grandfather Joseph Pallai made his own wine . Had a small grocery store in Taylorville, il. Our family dinners were so great. My favorite was touta lot he. Sp prob not correct. But I loved hi wine. I had a couple of glasses of your house wine was so delicious. It may of been in the NFL in a basket. What's the name and can I buy a btl sometime. I have eaten at this restaurant since I was a little girl, it is top notch. The food, service, staff and atmosphere is always excellent. A great choice and well worth the drive.
