Carter's is a buy-and-carry fish market in Springfield where the lightly breaded, perfectly cooked walleye and catfish come in enormous portions with bread, onions, pickles, and condiments, served quickly with friendly service at very reasonable prices, making it worth the wait despite no seating and long lines.

Hey, so there's this awesome fish spot in town where you can drive up, grab some delicious fish, and head on your merry way. The portions are massive, the prices are fair, and the staff is super friendly - definitely worth the wait! Trust me, you won't be disappointed with the mouthwatering fish fry they serve up here.

Always have great fish, here lately some times there is to much salt on the fish and then it is not worth eating, but my family keeps going back for more and have for years. Need better parking when busy.

Best fish I have ever had great place to eat me n my husband try to go every summer. Very good service n good friendly people. Love it we tell all are friends about it.
