Driving home from Illinois to Ohio. Husband began eating hot fudge sundae slowly to try to wait for us to eat together as I had not been served, yet. I went back to counter, inquired about my bacon cheeseburger. Not ready Only drive-thru orders ready. Family of four ordered just before we did. Had been served and were eating. Went back to table. Waited. Decided, after waiting again, to get refund for burger. Cashier said, "He just put fresh burgers on". " No, want refund. On road. Stopped for FAST food. Have things to do..", I said. Husband works at fast food place. He said, "Not supposed to be this way." "Shouldn't.", I replied. Used credit card, so had to be swiped again for refund. Husband signed receipt. No one apologized, which would have been in order. We travel that way often. Will not stop there again.
