I have been eating at Egg Shack ever since they've been in Cal Pk. In fact, I and my children were 1 of their 1st customers, and we still eat there with my grandchildren. I will admit that sometimes the food isn't perfect (what restaurant's is); however, if the food isn't cooked to your liking, they will take it back and redo it. If you are doing a carryout, I suggest checking your food before you leave. My most recent visit was yesterday (1/28/20200, and not only did I sit down & eat breakfast, but I also took food home for lunch & dinner. For further information, Eggman, located on 127th & Kedzie is owned by the same Greek Family.

This is the second Sunday that I had a bad experience with my food at the egg Shack on 127th and Cal Park the food was under cook last Sunday the food wasn't right it make me sick I pay for my food last Sunday this Sunday I didn't pay for my food because only took a bite out of the potatoes and they were undercooked they were crunchy as hell they didn't cook them all the way the manager tells me to go somewhere else to have them food to eat what type of service and manager will tell someone something like that she needs to have more respect for the customers even if they are wrong and I don't believe I was totally wrong

I have eaten the food here on a few occasions on take out but I finally sat down about a week ago with my neighbor and I was not disappointed! With 2 people the bill was $20 bucks and the same meal at my favorite restaurants like Lumes and Golden Griddle would cost almost $40! I just ordered a to go meal so I will have to review later! LOL

the best bacon, egg and cheese sandwich i've ever had. loaded with bacon. never sat down and ate there, always pre-ordered but they are always packed. they are a little pricey but good eating is worth it.

First of all they are ALWAYS changing their menu prices. I paid $8.00 for 3 pancakes and 2 sausage links! They did not put the whip cream on it like I ordered, and everything was cold.

This restaurant is owned by a young, Greek man, who is achieving his college education. The staff are excellent with customer service. I go for breakfast. I love to cook (not a chef), but their breakfast is the best. They serve other foods (lunch & dinner), but I go for the breakfast, which was their first option to customers for years. If you want a good, home cooked breakfast that you wouldn't get at other places like Denny's. Go here. You will feel like you are in your grandma's dinner.
