On our return from Florida last Saturday we stopped in Mt Vernon and my husband had the Molcajete listed on the menu, it sounds good but it was sooooo much better. It was delicious and a very large portion, we put the reminder in our cooler and had it when we got back to the twin cities on Sunday I would recommend it to everyone, i am looking for the recipe, glad i found the restaurant will call or email them

This restaurant is by far the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to! No competition when it comes to "The Ranch". The cheese dip is amazing and the fajitas are delicious! Also those margaritas are just the greatest and that new molcajete is to die for! It was so big and for such a small price! The service is unbelieveable, I mean seriously they had my chips and salsa on my table before I even sat down! The waiters are so funny and super friendly. I recommend this restaurant to anyone that is in or around Mt. Vernon. Arriba El Rancherito!!
