This is a family owned restaurant and at times it is closed for unknown reasons, but does not stop me from visiting and having their wonderful dishes. I don't like a way to fancy dish like some other thai restaurants in the area and cost more then it should. I get ample amount of food and leave happy and a full stomach. Even though their is only one waitress most of the time, I don't mind hanging out in the cozy atmosphere reading my paper or chatting away with my colleagues. Feels like wakling into a home kitchen with the comfort.

A nice little Thai restaurant in downtown rock island diagonally across the street from the holiday inn. plenty of parking with a parking ramp next door, its a family owned restaurant that serves anything from basil pork to egg drop soup. they have a daily lunch special Monday thru Friday which is really reasonable. you wont find a better price anywhere else. my favorite is a toss up between the kung pao chicken which i highly recommend ( if you like spicy food with lots of onions), and the green pepper and tomato beef.
every dish i have had there was excellent, and there usually isn't much of a wait for a place that cooks to order. i highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area for lunch.
