Cass Street Bar in Pacific Beach is where retro vibes meet chill bartenders and killer weekday beer deals-plus, free pool on Mondays for some friendly competition. The staff, like Britany and Tony, go above and beyond, whether it's fetching a rare Topo Chico with lime or swapping tattoo stories that brighten your day. Between flavorful sandwiches, perfectly seasoned fries, and a killer soundtrack straight out of the '80s, this is the kind of laid-back hangout that makes you want to come back for karaoke nights, St. Paddy's shenanigans, or just a casual afternoon with friends.

The local neighborhood dive I visited had a welcoming security team and Britany made sure I felt comfortable during my visit. The atmosphere was relaxed with a retro vibe, great music from the 80s, and delicious food options like the steak baguette and cheeseburger with fries.
