I've driven past The Roanoake many times, drawn in by its inviting grassy exterior that reminded me of a Hobbit Home. After a long day at Greenlake, I decided to visit this dive bar with friends, enjoying its spacious interior, attentive service, and delicious drinks, especially the fresh peach sour and famous nachos.

I have passed by The Roanoake several times on my way to Capitol Hill. The green exterior always caught my eye, resembling a Hobbit Home. When my friends and I visited after a day at Greenlake, we found street parking available around 10:30pm. The interior is surprisingly spacious with tables, TVs, and a couple of pinball machines.
