The bar offers great deals on beer and food specials, like the $2 burger that you can customize to your liking. During my visit, I encountered a friendly bartender and observed a mix of regulars, some of whom may exhibit rowdy behavior. The atmosphere is lively with patrons cheering as certain individuals leave the premises, and the bar is known for its extensive selection of pull tabs.

I've been to the Tower a few times and two constants have stood out every time: 1. The $1 burgers they serve on Wednesdays are great, far better than you'd expect for a buck. 2. The bartender/server, who has to work the entire front of the house solo and thus might be forgiven, has the attitude of someone who clearly hates his job.

Bottom line for me: When you're in a tavern where you feel that asking for service is treated like a hassle, it's time to find another tavern...I can buy a burger at McDonald's and not be made to feel like it's an imposition.
