My wife's family is from Houma, where chain restaurants dominate, so discovering Cafe Dominique downtown was a refreshing change with its upscale American menu and elegant atmosphere. The rib eye and osso bucco were both flavorful and well-prepared, complemented by excellent grilled asparagus, making the higher price worth it for a solid dining experience.
