This tavern holds a special place in my heart, filled with cherished memories of visits with my dad during my childhood. The fried chicken on Sundays is a personal favorite, while the Friday fish, with its crispy cornmeal batter, never fails to impress. I have fond memories of my hometown tavern, especially coming here with my dad when I was younger. The fried chicken on Sundays and the cozy atmosphere make it a favorite spot for me. The cheeseburger was seasoned well, but I found the toppings a bit overwhelming with onions, overall a great place with delicious food and friendly staff.

The fish is amazing. In all my travels I have never been served cod that was so "meaty" with so little breading ! Their tartar sauce is homemade and is available with or without jalapenos. Their sides are big servings and are homemade as well. Cat n Fiddle is a hidden treasure in the west end off Eiler Road !!!

Forget ordering Roast Beef Au Jus - looked awful, no taste at all- pitched. Fried pickles all stuck together and french fries - limp - not cooked enough. Recommend the fish only!
