The museum at the Mounds area is a great place to start your visit, providing valuable information to enhance your experience exploring the trails. Although some trail maintenance is needed, the signage is helpful in navigating the paths and grabbing a map from the visitor center can be beneficial. It's a fascinating opportunity to learn about the ancient Mississippian culture and enjoy a peaceful and educational visit for just $5.
