Chico's is a long-standing Mexican joint on the west side that's been dishing up goodness for years. We stopped by for brunch last Sunday - my wife tried the Beef cheek platter, while I went for the chorizo tacos and a tamale. The staff was super friendly, keeping our drinks topped up, and though it's a bit cozy, the wait is worth it for the homemade salsa with a nice balance of sweet tomato and heat. If you're after homely Mexican fare that hits the spot, Chico's is the place to be!
