As we rolled into Kentland for a weekend of drag racing, we stumbled upon Downtown Lounge when our original dining choice turned out to be closed. What a delightful surprise it was! The salad bar was a colorful array of fresh veggies, and the complimentary toasted bread with marinara was a tasty starter, but the real stars were the meatballs our waitress raved about-she wasn't wrong! My fettuccini Alfredo with Italian sausage was creamy and comforting, while my husband devoured the meat cannelloni; just a heads-up, the sausage had a fiery kick! With friendly staff and reasonable prices, this hidden treasure has earned a spot on our must-visit list for next time.

We love this place. We don't get to go as much as we would like. The owners are top shelf and the Imperial Shrimp rocks. They have a wonderful salad bar with fresh fruit and good soups. The atmosphere is quite nice and well done. This place should be full every night. If you want a good meal with a nice different variety of offerings hit this spot. We are going tonight! I haven't had a steak there yet so that's next.

They have the best hamburgers around. The bacon mushroom swiss burger is very good
