I tried the Hobo Hut for the first time today, and it was a pleasant surprise. The friendly waitress kindly covered my bill when I realized they only accepted cash, and the food was delicious - especially the fish sandwich and grilled cheese with veggie soup. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service made it a memorable experience, definitely worth a visit if you're in Batesville.

1st time visit, ordered a couple of burgers, an order of fries and a soft drink. Close to $20 bucks. The kicker the small tiny soft drink was welllllll over $2. The burgers were underwhelming, fries greasy. The server was nice. Not a place this hobo will ever go again"¦ what a shame.
