The food at this quaint neighborhood eatery was budget-friendly and satisfactory. Despite being short-staffed, the service was exceptional. The cozy building exuded a historic tavern charm and sat nestled in a quiet residential area. The staff was welcoming and familiar with regular customers, adding to the warm atmosphere of the place.

10-23-24, Was Turned Away For Breakfast When I Came In At 10:37 am. I Was Late Getting There Before You Stop Serving Breakfast Because Traffic Was Horrible & Backed Up Everywhere In That Area Because Bosse Field /Garvin's Park Area Is Giving Away Free Food. I Asked A Driver Stuck In Traffic What Was Going On. Not Happy! Would Have Been My 2nd Time There Today... I Left Because I Wanted Breakfast But Was Told It's Over With. Should Serve It During Your Open Hours!

Fantastic food, great prices, wonderful service, and the friendliest atmosphere you could possibly imagine...what's not to love?! The location is also a plus: after your delicious meal, take a stroll through the beautiful park (another local gem) just across the street. Seriously, go, eat, soak in the local hospitality (as well as the good ol' fashioned yummy goodness)...you won't be sorry!

I have visited this restaurant several times during lunch. The food is awesome and the waitress that I have is wonderful (Karen). She is always friendly with my group every time we come for lunch. Today I witnessed another waitress (Elizabeth) being very rude to Karen in front of customers. I was very upset that an employee would talk to another employee in such a rude matter especially in front of customers. I will be only be coming back because our waitress is very friendly and great at what she does. When you visit this restaurant be sure to ask for Karen.

Awesome homemade onion rings and appetizer tray.The breaded tenderloin and fish sandwich are huge and hanging off the bun.I have also had their daily plate lunches,it honestly tastes like mom's home cooked meals.Don't forget to get a piece of home made pie.
