I called (and should have known how this was gonna go when ) panda answered "hello" instead of the thx 4 calling panda. I went ahead and put my order in. I ordered a seafood dish, a beef dish and a sweet and sour dish.
I asked if they came with rice " no", so i ordered 2 fried rice and 1 wht rice.
I was standing outside waiting for my food and noticed the 10? Maybe 12 yr old bringing my dinner to the window. I forget the exact amt he told me but i immediately knew something wasnt right. Well they had 5 fried rice and 2 white rice. When i asked to have all but 3 removed he tried to refund my $. $2.00?? At which i asked the adults whats going on here? No one spoke English accept the 10 -12 yr old. Got my money back and headed to a real good restaurant! NEW HONG KONG restaurant. In the strack & van til strip mall. ABSOLUTELY CORRECT & DELICIOUS. I recommend you skip my 1st step ( mistake) and just head over to new hong kong. Thank you panda . Without your screw up i would have missed a great ,hot dinner.

My family had been ordering from panda for About a year. Overall the food tastes good but yesterday 2/22/14 I found a jet black thick strand of hair in my shrimp lo mein. Ruined my dinner and I doubt I'll be ordering from there again! I was extremely upset!

I was amazed at how good the food was, and how quick the delivery driver is. The old delivery driver took forever, The new delivery girl is so nice and respectful and she knows exactly where your house is. All together i say A+ and ask Hobart to try this restaurant; its good to have a change in the food we eat. They also deliver to Lake Station,Portage, & the steel mills in the port of Indiana. I am a mystery shopper and it is hard to please me, and i will say....................... GOOD JOB PANDA ;)
