Yesterday is the 2nd time the sale price on the marquee didn't match the price in the store. The 1st time the (produce manager) honored the posted price although he stated "that was last week's sale price" I told him the lad was putting that price up as we speak, but he did not take any action to stop the posting of what he claimed was out dated information. As I was leaving the parking lot I informed the guy putting up the prices that I had been told he was making a mistake. The lad pulled out a piece of paper and stated that these were the correct numbers and that the inside staff is not knowledgeable in this matter.
Yesterday I asked about the discrepancy in the price of Asparagus and was told the lower price was last week's price. When I informed him, the lower price is still on the marquee (sound 4pm), he responded that there was nothing he could do about it. I responded he could take the sign down. A store employee that does not understand the relationship between the availability of advertised prices and customer satisfaction is beyond ignorant and more probably evidence of a poor attitude. I'm glad I don't have to work with someone like this and a consequence of his attitude was my decision to leave the store without purchasing the sale priced Salmon and the half priced pastries on display at the front of the store.
