I have been several times, and each time was great this time I brought my daughter who has a severe dairy allergy, which we explained to our waiter, his comment Was,
"The kitchen is very small and we can't possibly guarantee some form of dairy won't touch your food so order a salad" she asked that if her entree could be cooked in its own pan with olive oil and he reiterated that the chef couldn't acomidate this, I am sure this isn't the first time they had a person with a food allergy it seemed like they were busy and really could not have cared, very disappointing.

First and last time I'll ever go here! The six of us were so excited to go out -- three sets of Moms and daughters and we decided to spend our money at Figs. From the time we were seated to the time our meal came, we waited 1 hour and 20 minutes. We asked to speak to the manager who told us "I checked your ticket, you only waited 1 hour and 9 minutes. That's why we suggest you have a salad first." WHAT???? No one told us to have a salad, no one told us the wait was going to be that long, and ALL the other tables around us were served and done before we even had our food. (Plus we took 10 minutes to decide on our food choices, so we actually DID wait 1 hour and 20 minutes) We go to LOTS of restaurants and I have never in my life waited that long -- not at dive places, and not at 5 star restaurants. Four of us thought the food was only OK (lobster/crab roll only had 1 piece of lobster, short ribs didn't have depth of flavor, pasta dish pretty bland) while 2 really liked their scallop dish. We asked the manager what she was going to do for us since we waited so long. (She offered nothing, including NO apology.) She sighed, exasperated, and said "Well, what do you want me to do?" SO RUDE. We opted for free desserts UNTIL we were told that it would take 15 more minutes!!!!! We asked to have $ taken off the check that equaled the dessert cost. There were 6 of us and the manager took off $28. Never heard of a $4.66 dessert, but OK. We told her we were NEVER coming back and she didn't seem to mind at all. OWNER TAKE NOTE: Your staff is rude and unprofessional. Telling all my friends.

What a fabulous, hopping place figs bistro/restaurant!"

I had so wanted to stop in for a while and when I finally did I couldn't have been more satisfied what a fun, casual atmosphere - you feel like you've stepped into a Napa valley or in a busy New York bistro for a meal a great selections of tap beer and a cool bar. But who can resist outdoor seating on a beautiful day? Now the several times I've been there during the summer once with my very picky uncle who loved everything. I've been lucky to get a table outside and enjoyed it thoroughly. My friend had Church hill steak on ciabatta roll and hasn't stopped raving about it since. My husband (gluten free) and I (vegetarian) had great meals, as well so many options. Their crunchy (bean Burger) really is delicious and their selection of salad is to die for.
I also had a vegetable noodle bowl special- it was the best I've ever had, their veggie spring rolls and their spinach barley soup is awesome. The chefs sure are creative putting together some great dishes. And the servers have always been attentive from the bartender, to the chefs in their open kitchen were you can see your meal made by clean professional chefs. We will defiantly be at figs for a long time can't wait to return, which I will be doing this weekend.
