We regret our experience was not as favorable as some other's who have posted. We ordered take out for several people thinking we might finally find a decent Chinese restaurant in Carson City. The duck was over-cooked and very dry. The chow fun was bland and the egg plant was mushy and bland as well. The beef broccoli was ok and the Mongolian beef was actually pretty good. The shrimp chow mien was horrible. The shrimp was mushier than the eggplant and had a horrible texture as if it was frozen then thawed to an undesirable cooking stage. The flavor just wasn't palatable for must of the items we ordered. The staff was friendly but unfortunately the food wasn't. It was a considerable cost for a considerable disappointment.

The first time I had pot stickers was more than 40 years ago, in Kowloon. The pot stickers at China Bistro tonight were every bit as tasty as those first ones. The other items (steamed buns, Hunan beef, shrimp chow mien) were also excellent. To top things off, you can call ahead (their menu is on the Internet), and the food will be ready for pickup at their drive-through window (the building used to be a Burger King) in 15 minutes. Not bad for Carson City.
