Qualia in Eckington serves some of the best coffee I've had in DC, with strong, rich espresso and a great variety of drinks, including non-dairy options without extra charge. The vibe is super chill and welcoming, with friendly baristas who are total coffee nerds and a nice back patio that feels like a little escape from the city. Their pastries are a decent bonus, especially when they're warm, and I love that it's dog-friendly with treats for pups too.

Qualia in Eckington is my go-to for coffee; even my in-laws from Brooklyn ask for their beans. I love the relaxed vibe and the fact that they're dog-friendly with little cookies for pups. The coffee is consistently fantastic, and the staff are super friendly-definitely a place I enjoy visiting!
