My wife & I eat regularly on Saturdays to enjoy the prime rib dinner. However, om March 3, 2018, we ordered the prime rib dinner. My wife had a good prime rib dinner but my prime rib was very gristly. I told the waitress & she told the cook. I got another prime rib and it was more gristly that before. I was very disappointed because we have always had delicious meals when we go to Westland Family Dining.

Great spaghetti! And their specials on spaghetti are fantastic on Monday's! Owner is very sweet and friendly!

They're very nice, and acomidating. I loved their stir fry, but mostly I love the Chicken Lemon Rice soup. It's very lemony which is what keeps me coming back, and perfect consistency. It's taken forever to find a place where you can tell there's a squirt of lemon in a lemon soup.
Also, saw a review about their batter, and his diabetes being set off. All you can eat Fridays. Has nothing to do with the restaurant at all, any starch, breads, oils, all turn from fat to pure sugar in our system, which with diabetes, your pancreas can't keep up. Best to eat baked fish, not batter, with some lemon or any non sugar added seasoning you prefer. Fish is very good for you, but frying isn't in any context for a person with sugar issues.

You cannot beat an egg, meat, side & 2 bits of toast for $1.99, available before 11, assume you will have a wait thought, the food is that good and they are that busy.

The food is excellent but...I am a diabetic and for some reason the fish they serve as their all you can eat special on Friday spikes my blood sugar. I don't know whether it's the batter they use or what. That's my only complaint.
