The Tides hotel has transformed into a sidewalk cafe and Terrace and bar, still serving average fare at high prices, but with the stunning Atlantic Ocean and South Beach setting, the experience is elevated. Despite mixed reviews on food and prices, the ocean views warrant a four-star rating, with an additional star for the location and style. The Moroccan dish I tried during a food tour was exceptional and showcased the chef's talent, making The Tides a great spot for drinks and ambiance on Ocean Drive.
