I've live in the area for over 35 years. We look for new places to get good food every week. Mo fish is our too number one for fish. These people writing bad comments are probably the type looking for negatives before they even when not in. Beer is always cold the fish is always yummy.i love going there.

My husband and I were there about 3:15. We placed our order first a appetizer it was the fried green spinach and onion it was terrible. I send it back because the inside was not done it was was raw and still had cornmeal mix in the middle. They recooked it then it outside was hard and inside was the same. I have cooked for over 40 years and had own my own restaurant

The carp tastes terrible I think it's Asian carp that they serve there

The catfish was under cooked! Tasted like dirty water. Cost 75 cents for a couple slices of lemon. The people were not friendly. They were ready to close! The beer wasn’t cold. They serve you with plastic forks and plastic cups. My husband can’t refuse to pay so he paid the whole bill and the lady should have known it was bad because he didn’t eat but a sliver of fish. Terrible won’t be back!

This is the kind of food that you can make at home. Almost everything on the menu is deep fat fried and as far as fresh, I can go to the grocery store and get much fresher. Most of the owners are great and very friendly aside from the middle aged one.

BEST FISH AROUND! I READ A REVIEW ABOUT SUMONE SAYING SERVICE WAS BAD AND THEY CLOSE UP EARLY. WELL FROM MY EXPERIENCE IV BEEN THERE A THOUSAND TIMES AND SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. AND I DO UNDERSTAND THAT THEY SHUT THE KITCHEN DOWN A HALF HOUR BEFORE CLOSEING. THIS IS A FAMILY OWNED RESTRAUNT AND THESE PEOPLE PUT SOME HOURS IN EVERYDAY. I DONT BLAME THEM FOR WANTING TO GET HOME AND SPEND SOME TIME WITH THEIR FAMILIES. VERY NICE FAMILY OWNED RESTRAUNT. AND FROM MY EXPERIENCE YOU USUALY DONE GER BAD SERVICE SOMEWHERE UNLESS YOU YOURSELF ARE A PERSON WITH A ATTITUDE.

My wife and I visited Mo Fish last night for the first time. I had the Catfish while my wife ordered the Walleye. Best fish I have ever tasted. And, no bones to worry about. This and 2 sides a piece for $30 and that included the tip. Joe Tess, you just lost a 25yr customer. It is worth the little extra drive. Small place but very clean and comfortable. We will be regulars. Best ever.

Been to mo fish several times. No complains on the food. Noticed they close 30 mins before advertised closing time. They actually turned customers away when they arrived 30 mins prior to closing. Tried to give a suggestion to owner regarding this issue and being rushed thru our meal. His response was "fu-- you." if you don't like it leave. He was slamming doors, yelling cuss words at us. We were with a large party and he embarrassed us horribly! So unprofessional and rude. We will never be back and will tell everyone we know. Bad bad business! Don't eat here!!!!!!!!!

I have been hearing about this place for about 2 years now. I could not find it at first because I was relying om Omaha resources, who just think that Council Bluffs just consist of Broadway. Anyways when I finally arrived:BAM instant gratification! Joe Tess might as well shut it's doors 'cause a it's GROSS, straight-up!

You might say I'm a frequent flyer at Moe's. So much that when I sit down the wonderful staff has our food at the table! Both food & service is excellent!!! Thanks for a great meal:)

Mo-Fish is just a great restaurant and the best “Carp Dinner” around. Very cooold beer. Catfish and Walleye, the best as well. The owners are great (You as well Trent), The Service is always friendly and outstanding. Linda and I go almost every Friday night. Keep doing what you are doing.
So, I went, I ate and I got the “Sweat-Shirt”
P.S. The only thing wrong there is the “Oklahoma Flag by the TV and that “Sooner Schooner” on top of the TV. Whatever. “GO PACKERS” & GO HUSKERS”. We love you “MO-FISH”.

We're visiting from Arizona, and our family resides in Omaha. Suggested we all go out for a nice meal and it was a very nice experience, the staff (all adults), wait, cook staff. The seafood was fresh and cooked to my/our satifaction. My understanding "Joe Tess just lost it flavor over time".

Ya cannot get any better then Mofish!!! The food is outstanding and so are the people that work there. My wife and i were also at mofish the night when that drunk walked in starting trouble with the wait staff. That Jmoore guy was a very rude individual who should probably keep his drunkass and his comments at home before he gets his self in trouble. So anyways i really loved the food and i will defenitly be back.

THE FIRST REVIEW ON THIS SITE IS INCORRECT FROM JMOORE, I WITNESS A INTOXICATED CUSTOMER WITH A ATTITUDE THAT WAS ASKED TO LEAVE.I DON'T BLAME THE OWNERS FOR THAT REQUEST. IT'S AMAZEING THAT JMOORE DOES'NT MENTION THIS PART OF THE STORY.THE
ATMOSPHERE AND ATTITUDE ARE THE MOST FRIENDLY YOU
WILL FIND.JMOORE SHOULD START GOING TO LONG JOHNS
DRUNK AND SEE HOW THEY TOLERATE HIM.

Love, love, love their walleye!! Husband loves the carp! Everyone is happy! Perfect place to go after a bike ride along the trail that goes by the restaurant.
