As a trucker sandwich enthusiast, I can confidently say that the roast beef, mashed potatoes, and brown gravy on soft, slightly sweet bread here is exceptional. The atmosphere is eclectic and entertaining, making it a fun dining experience that I'd share with family and friends.

I am obsessed with a good ole trucker sandwich. This joint serves up a killer one - roast beef, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, all cozied up between slices of soft, slightly sweet bread. The meat is tender, the potatoes just right, and the service is quick and friendly. It's a must-try if you're into hearty, tasty eats.

I had went here a month ago ans gotten their biscuits and gravy. Most places make the gravy too salty but it was actually very good. Our waitress didnt seem to care much to be there but when your a bored 16yr old with only two tables, you tend to care more about your phone. I will be coming again soon and I cant wait to try whats next!

I notice most reviews are highly picky, its not like a Rod Lobster restuarant people, its more like a diner or cafe and small owned. If you want class then go out to eat for class. And to another review, id rather have the sick be cleaned with bleach than it to be filled with other peoples unknown germs touching my child.

Have gone to the Family Table Restaurant,twice this month. The service was excellent, the food was great, and the prices fair. It is a typical mid-western restaurant, with local atmosphere and conversation. I will be going back, when I am in Carroll, Iowa.

my friend and i went yesterday food was good and service was ok until we had a problem with the bill!the waitress got mad and had a attitude she asked us if we wanted to talk to manager then didnt bother getting him so we went to get him and he got attitude too!we were only trying to tell them our drink was supposed to be included with our melt and we were charged separetly for them but i dont think anyone heard us they laughed and said whatever.WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK AND OUR FAMILYS WILL NOTEITHER!!!

the food was OK but wife went in the bathroom to change my sons diaper laid him on the sink to do it the sink had just been cleaned with bleach,didn't know it coat ruined. man anger or owners wont do anything wouldn tell my worst enemy to go there.
