I had lunch there last week. It was great! Some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Service was very fast.

I have used Jimmy's for several catering events and both the food and service have been wonderful. Jimmy and his staff are always willing to work with me no matter how big or small the event is.

I have read a couple of negative reviews here, so thought I would leave a positive one. My wife and I love Jimmy's BBQ Pit! We are very pleased to have an establishment like this in Boone. This will be one of our regular stops for good BBQ and service! Keep up the good work.

Had a catering, and he showed up late. Was very rude, dropped off and left. The food was gross: the meat was dry, the sides were soupy. It was like the had been sitting in out in the heat for hours. We ran out, was over charged for it. Thought about giving him another try, when asking for donation or raff for a benifit that happened here in town. He was VERY rude, a simple no would have worked. But he acted like he was offended that we came to him for gift certificate. NOT impressed!!!

i stopped in at Jimmy's because i heard it was good bbq in the style of Texas i lived in Texas for 4 years and i can tell you it is nothing like Texas bbq the meat was dry and the service gave me the idea that they did not care if i was there or not i hope there is another place in Boone i can go next time i am in town
