Although the service can be slow and parking is inconvenient, the excellent food-especially the pasta entrees with side salad and bread, strong martinis, and dishes like the pecan-crusted chicken salad, steak de burgo, and walleye-combined with the cozy, nostalgic atmosphere featuring dim lighting, a fireplace, attentive staff, and a beautiful old-fashioned bar, makes dining here a consistently enjoyable and memorable experience that keeps me coming back despite the distance.
