The food is consistently delicious, but it can be inconvenient that they only accept cash and there is usually a wait for your order. The Deluxe tenderloin is absolutely amazing, and the breaded mushrooms are heavenly. Despite the busy lunchtime crowd, it is definitely worth the wait to try their food.

I've looked for years for a good tenderloin. I don't know why I never thought of Mr. Bibbs. But I finally did, and I'm glad I did. It was big, and tender, and I will definitely make it my tenderloin destination from now on. And they have the best grinder too. I will be going today to get both, and the crinkle fries too. I highly recommend giving them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I drove from West Des Moines to get a Mr. Bibbs tenderloin at 5:30 only to find out they were closed . A waste of time .
Are they running a business or is it just an occasional pastime for them . Do I need to call ahead

Just ordered 6/orders of wing dings, 3/tenderloines. My husband came home w/ 3 tenderloins and 1/ order of wing dings.

I called, they said they tried to call me and ask if its a order of 6 wing dings or just 6 dings.

I told her it was supposed to be 6 orders! She was wasn't trying to be accommodating for the mix up on their part! She says I didn't get charged.
But, Why would I just order 6 dings as if its a option to order 2 wings, 4 wings, or 6 wings?

She wanted to be argumentative about it! But not so with me, I just won't go back. She could have said come back, I will get you the 5 orders of wings you didn't get @ 1/2 price. Customer service!

For getting it wrong, driving all the way there/ back, waiting in a long line, the nasty customer service over the phone, and burnt wings cooked in old grease & dried up tenderloins!!

Shame on you!!!!!

Old-school fast food burgers and fries shop, w/ handmade tenderloins, and some of the best homemade onion rings in town. Don't be intimidated by the building or surroundings. It's one of the friendliest neighborhoods in town.
