We have been to some of the best restaurants around Iowa and no other can beat Taso's perfect steak or prime rib. Their wait staff is perfect. Super friendly and never pushy. Their salads are excellent also and don't forget to try their pumpkin bars when in season. Not a fancy desert but delicious just the same. The prices are great too and I almost always have more than I can eat. We often spend the day shopping in Des Moines but come back to Knoxville to eat because there isn't anyplace better up there. It is just silly to spend more for a meal of lesser quality.

We eat in this restaurant several times a week and just love the food and friendly service. We always go on Sunday for the buffet and truly enjoy the meatloaf and roast beef. It's the best around. We have never had a bad meal or bad service here even when they are extremely busy. But most of all we appreciate the super cleanliness of this establishment. I have never been in a cleaner restaurant. Try Tasos and you won't be disappointed.

Varied menu, but food is below average. High price for serving size. Service is slow. Owner's mother who works there recently arrested for drugs & insurance fraud.

I saw that someone was slandering Tasos (Amber), and decided I'd write a review. The food is great, great atmosphere, the waitresses are extremely friendly and on top of things, I would totally take my girlfriend there on a date, but only at the later hours, because they are always full the first few hours. and always full the first few hours, means that they are obviously doing something right that brings people back for more.

You get great food for the price, the wait to receive the food isnt that bad, and the sweet tea is amazing. the only thing I would change about Tasos' if I could, was have them have coke products instead of pepsi

We eat in this place 5 to 6 times a month when in the area. Wish we had one in our town. The food is to die for...try the pizza you woon't go wrong. They offer nice size portions for a fair price.

If you are just in the mood to eat just looking for a place where you can fill your stomach but fast food won't do...then this is the place. However don't expect much more.

On the up side the menu selection is large and varied. You can find something for everybody which is an advantage for picky eaters. There is pasta, pizza, burgers,steaks, chicken and more. However everything is very average with nothing standing out as exceptional including the atmosphere or service.

If you are looking for exceptional food with great atmosphere, great service for that special night out...THIS IS NOT THE PLACE.

You will like Tasos if you want average food at an affordable moderate price in somewhat of a cafeteria style mood. The prices are affordable but you get what you pay for. They offer plenty of selection, your wallet does not get abused and the food is just good enough that your stomach does not get abused but don't expect anything about this place to be above average. It's average at best!
