Like they're sister location in knighstown, In. exit 115 on I-70, these are without a doubt, two
of the best restaurants on any highway anywhere in the USA. I've been driving these highways for over 26 years and there's no better food or friendly service to be found.

Owner very sweet and very helpful, staff great, for 10 dollars you can eat the buffet ,good fresh food, homemade soups, bread, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. As a trucker who lives on the road this was a blessing,y'all are in our book! God bless!B-)

I was staying as a nearby hotel Friday. I went to the PineCone and ordered their featured dish to go. A full slab of ribs, huge baked potato, green beans, salad and bread....and then they added 2 more sides of your choice! All for $14.99. The food was great and honesty could easily have fed 4 hungry adults. I will definitely be going back!

My wife and I ate there on Sept, 10th, 2011. Much to my surprise, I found out they no longer take credit or debit bank cards. All they accept is cash! I was told to get money from the ATM down the hallway. This is a larger truck stop/restraurant size and this unusual. Almost all of them take bankcards! Note my food was cold and the hash browns were undercooked.

OK i work at the pine cone and trust me those hash browns are about the only good thing about the place, it's not very expensive but the place is infested with crickets. just saying

This restaurant has been serving REAL homemade food for years. Service is excellent and their buffet and saladbar is second to none. But breakfast... I think it is the only restaurant in the country that still serves REAL hashbrowns not those instant or dehydrated ones. If your hungry on I-80 and don't want to morgage the house to eat, this is the place.
