Nestled within an older brick building, the ambiance evokes a sense of stepping into a quaint European eatery, complete with colonial decor and a cozy charm. The attentive service and delicious German cuisine made our brunch experience memorable, leaving me eager to return for a more extensive meal.

My wife and I discovered this charming eatery online and decided to have brunch there before leaving Amana. Housed in a traditional brick building, the restaurant exudes an old-world European charm that instantly transports you to a bygone era. While the atmosphere felt a bit antiquated, the attentive service and delicious, affordable German fare made our visit memorable.

Ate here a couple times lately while visiting the Colonies and the food was pretty good. but please, could the serving dishes get any smaller? They were the size of a small soup cup for two people...not conducive to a family style meal. The portions are most assuredly smaller which is okay but no German potato salad in sight anymore. Service was fine ...very nice waitress's but would like to see them in their Drindls as in the past which adds to the German atmosphere. The weekend/night manager seemed very befuddled and not very welcoming.
