Maid-Rite in Muscatine never disappoints, delivering delicious food that brings back fond memories. The service is attentive, and each visit feels like a warm reminder of home, making their famous Maid-Rites and root beer a must-try for anyone in the area.

No menus at table. Ordered two burger baskets and two root beers as a basket. Charged $2.39 for each fry and not kidding. I had about ten fries and a burger that had about 1/4 inch of meat. Over $20.00 with a tax and tip. Rip off.

The price is nowhere comparable to what you get. For the amount of meat on a regular sandwich & sides, you could go to a fancier restaurant and get a steak dinner for a little more.
It may be a "one time" experience, but not something you could afford once in awhile. $4.00 for one loose meat sandwich is too much. Then add a side and a small drink and it is 8-10 bucks. Outrageous.

Not a place I would go again.

I would maybe take visitors here, but not twice.

Save your money and get a real burger. take it off the bun and tear it into a few pieces. Put it back on the bun and then enjoy.

Or better yet, buy some ground meat and make these at home. You can make 4 or 5 BIG loose meat sandwiches for one of theirs.....
