I work right across the street tried to eat here twice since the new owners took over, both times went in at 12:15 for lunch both times was told they stopped serving they close at 1pm. I just shook my head and left Stoso would be embarassed at what they have turned his business into.

just one question. Are you open today or closed today? Are you open tomorrow or closed tomorrow? The hours seem to change all the time. I still like the place.

We had carry out order. Italian beef and Philly cheese steak. Wow They were great Reasonable prices. Right on time for pick up

The cook is incompetent. She can not cook a steak medium or medium rare. She is also hostile if you aren't happy with your burnt steak. She is also very, very rude.

A very different venue. Definitely not your usual steakhouse. You pick up a tray when you enter and choose your meat and how you want it cooked. Then you follow the counter and get your salad, soup, dessert and a drink.

I had fillet mignon and my wife had the baked pork chop. The price for 2 of us was $30. The food was excellent. Louie, one of the owners, who cooked the meat, and Lu our server, were both very nice and personable.

An excellent experience.

We gave J & D a 2nd chance....what a mistake AGAIN. My husband ordered the chopped sirloin special that is really an over cooked hamburger patty. I ordered the Italian Beef, part of the french roll was burnt & the other part was so soggy that I could not tell the difference between the roll and the so called beef. I exchanged my Italian Beef for Chicken Strips that I was not sure what the meat really was. I never complain, but this restaurant needs to be aware of what there customers really feel. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN.....

Remember Ponderosa Steak Houses? Well, J & D offers very similar selection of cuts, with a cafeteria style selection of sides. The workers were very friendly to me. When I told them it was my first time in this style and setup, everything was explained sufficiently. I'd recommend it to anybody who wants a great steak at a reasonable price. I can't wait to bring my wife here and surprise her with the selection and the decor. One of the little known treasures of Clinton. Too bad I lived in Fulton for 8 years and never knew about J & D before today.

My sister and i were in your town today for a wedding . We didn"t wont to eat the food that they had so we took a walk up the street & found your place . We had the bake pork chops dinner and i must say it was the best we ever had . It was so good i went back and told my husband about it and he she he was going to get an order to go and he did ..i just need for you all to no that we really enjoyed the food keep up the good work and i will be back soon. thank you you were a life sever for us today.
