The food and service at this restaurant are consistently impressive. I especially enjoy the perfectly cooked prime rib and the flavorful ribeye. Despite a somewhat limited menu, the quality of the dishes surpasses many other options in the area.

I take a detour through Clear Lake several times a year just so I can stop at the Half Moon. It has DELICIOUS food and I have never been disappointed. The fish and steaks are to die for. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

My wife and I plus a friend enjoyed a light dinner at the restaurant. The bill was $26 and change. The waitress rang the bill up as $6 and change. When the bill arrived at our table we pointed out the error. The waitress took the $6 bill and rang up the correct amount. She assured us that the $6 charge would be canceled and the $26 charge would be billed. BOTH WERE BILLED TO OUR DEBIT CARD! Why.

Get there early because the food is reasonably priced and delicious. There are nightly specials which are a bargain.

The salmon is wonderful as well as the walleye. For meat eaters, don't miss the prime rib or "sizzler" steak.

Salad dressings are homemade. The best part of the meal are the hash browns.. get the ones with onions and cheese on top. mmmm
