Pulling up to the restaurant off the busy road, the surrounding motel crowd gave off a slightly uneasy vibe, yet stepping inside revealed a clean, warmly decorated space with multiple rooms that softened the noise. The quiet, somewhat reserved server surprised me with friendly energy as we left, while the generous portions of flavorful dishes-especially my oversized mushroom quesadilla-offered satisfying comfort for the long drive ahead. Despite a few mixed impressions from my companion, the fresh salsa, attentive service, and authentic tastes created an inviting atmosphere that made me eager to return.
