Last night, I checked out The Conference Table for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the cozy bar vibe and friendly bartenders who made me feel right at home. I went for the specials-a creamy butternut squash and apple bisque followed by crispy fried chicken thighs with apple slaw and curry sauce-and both hit the spot, especially with generous pours of bourbon highballs along the way. The mix of great food, welcoming regulars, and laid-back atmosphere made it easy to see why folks keep coming back here.
