Growing up in Southeast Iowa, this has been a go-to for fried chicken that I now enjoy sharing with my kids. The chicken's crispy, crunchy breading and juicy meat always hit the spot, especially on Friday nights with the whole catfish special. Even when it's packed and the wait is long, the friendly staff, cold beer, and comforting sides make it worth every minute.
