The pupusas here are consistently hot, fresh, and flavorful, with a wide variety of combinations that satisfy every craving. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere even when the restaurant is busy or when ordering at the counter. While service can sometimes be a bit slow, the overall experience, including delicious traditional dishes and reasonable prices, keeps me coming back regularly.

I love popping into La Familiar for some amazing papusas that are always served hot and fresh at a decent price. The service can be a bit slow, with a quirky system of ordering at the counter even when seated at a table, but it adds to the charm of this neighborhood joint. The papitas locas and flan are my absolute favorites here, and I can't resist ordering them at least once every other week - pure addiction!
