Absolutely the best place in B/CS for appetizers, drinks and fine dining. The food is fantastic, delicious. The drinks are amazing and the the staff incredible and very knowledgeable. I enjoy every minute I'm there. The atmosphere is upscale and elegant yet comfortable and relaxing. It is amazing that you get all this with very reasonable prices.

Me and wife went to the republic last night hoping to have a great steak, we where both extremely disappointed. The appetizers where very good, but the steaks where horrible. I got the cowboy bone in rib eye and it was extremely tough and had absolutely no salt, pepper or anything on it for seasoning. My wife got the 10oz. filet and it was so dry and chewy she couldn't eat it. It had nothing on it for seasoning either. The republic claims to be serving 60 day aged Farm 44 beef, I'm calling BS on that or Farm 44 beef sucks. There is no way they served us a 60 day aged steak. My steak had so much membrane in it I could barely cut it with a steak knife. It was a really big let down and a wasted $342.00. Maybe some people like to over pay for tough steaks so they can say they went to a fancy restaurant, but I'm not one of those guys. I would recommend you go somewhere else if you want a good steak, I know I am.
