Southern food here is exactly how it should be-delicious, comforting, and served quickly even on busy days like Saturday's chicken special. The clean, nostalgic dining area and friendly staff make it easy to enjoy classic dishes like chicken and dumplings, turkey Reuben, and pancakes, creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps me coming back time and again.

This is the most painfully ordinary restaurant I have ever visited. You can get pretty much anything you would expect in a normal diner with normal menus and normal seating - including a counter with stools. It was clean and well-staffed. They have reasonable prices and daily specials. I realized, after being there awhile, that they have a sort of 50's theme. If not for the contemporary pricing, I could almost believe that I was in the 50's or 60's. Six months in North Carolina and it is also the best restaurant we have visited. If I lived in Sanford, I'd go every week.

Trash food is all cheat and staff is terrible

Went to the diner as we usually do 3x a week on 3/24/21. The positions are getting smaller, but this is not why I'm commenting. We usually pay with our credit card at the register. This particular evening our waiter brought us a card scanner to pay. I notixed a 20% tip was already included, and was not not given the option of a tip amount. This was a sneaky rotten thing to do to folks that are generally high tippers. Beware of people's shenanigans. Management didn't give a crap either.
