I visited a family-run restaurant recently, and I was pleasantly surprised by the small buffet bar that offered a variety of hot and cold dishes, including some delicious pot roast and shrimp. The attentive waitress kept our drinks filled, and I have to say the fish was the best I've ever tasted, along with some fantastic hush puppies. Although the building could use some improvements, I truly appreciate the effort these local businesses put in during tough times, and I'm excited to return to try their seafood next time.

The last fish I got here several yrs ago was over cooked and the owner acted as though she didn't want to make it right. So I never went back. I saw where they advertised . So I thought I would give them another chance well I called and ordered bacon egg sandwich 6.35 I said noway ! Egg bacon biscuit is 2.79 she said no that's without egg . No that is with egg on the menu. I want be ordering from there again ..if the menu is wrong then fix it.

The wife and I have always had great service and very good food each time we have eaten here. Everyone is very nice and friendly.

The food is OK but they don't season well. But it comes out hot without taste to me..

Everybody prices have increased and also the person that said doin look at the color I'm white and have to pay extra

We have ordered the exact same thing over a period of three months. On 5/30/20 @ 7:30pm, we placed the same order and found when paying, that the price had increased 18%. When questioned, the cashier stated the Pier had changed their prices. We will never go there again.

I usually do not write reviews. However, I just spent $45.00 and asked for an extra tarter & shrimp sauce . They only gave 1 small sauce for 2 Large plates. The cashier says that will be .35 cents each after I had already gave my card and paid in full. I told her I have bought food from them prior in just a few weeks and spent a lot. She just looked at me and said that will be .35 cents each. I told her well you will not have my business anymore. I will go right on to Monroe. You need us!!!! We don't need you!!! Look at the dollar and Not color!!!

I personally love the Pier! Nice family oriented type of restaurant with a friendly staff of employees and Southern Charm..I live in Marshville..love their seafood!
