I love to eat, especially sweets, and my lack of interest in physical activity has led me to be a bit on the hefty side. Let me tell you about the incredible cookies from Creative Cakes, LLC on South Fayetteville St. in Asheboro - they are hands down the best in the universe. Give them a try and make sure to mention the fat guy from Asheboro Magazine sent you!

So busy forgot about ordering a birthday cake and decided to call Creative Cakes. Surprisingly they was able to get the cake done the same day! The cake looked amazing and my family was all pleased.

Very friendly and professional! They have the best icing I have ever had! Nothing like what you buy at the store. The cakes are very moist. I love to come in and get an individual cake and some other goodies like the truffles, mints, cream horns, and much more to take back to work and snack on. Will recommend to others!

I brought a sheet cake from this store and it was just terrible looking, the cake was uneven with hump and customer service in the store is awful. The store calls for major experience bakers and decorators which it surely lacks along with needing a great customer service approach.I would rather give Walmart my business and thats sad.

I suggested this place to my best friend for her daughter's first birthday. It is right down the road from where I work so we could meet there and pick out a cake idea. She wanted a cupcake cake with a butterfly on it. When she ordered the cake the girl taking the order drew out a really good butterfly with cute little bubbles and it was going to be pink and purple. Not what she got though. Some of the cupcakes weren't even completely covered in frosting then on top of that she ordered cream cheese frosting but apparently they can't do cream cheese colored. She was not informed of this and paid extra for it!!! Now the butterfly looked like something a 5 year old could have drawn. There were no cute little circles or designs that butterflies have. It was just long lines of their nasty buttercream icing of pink and purple and then they outlined it in BLACK. My friend was unable to pick the cake up so her sister-n-law did and she didn't know it wasn't what the my friend was expecting. So she called and left a message about being unsatisfied.When she called back a second time, the lady who answered the phone was very unpleasant. She made it seem like it was my friend's fault that she didn't like the cake. She said that if she had been the one to have taken the order, she wouldn't have let her order the cake. This was fine...however since she ordered it 6 weeks in advance, shouldn't she have called her?? She spent $64.00 on the cake *which was only 36 cupcakes* and it wasn't what she wanted. She asked for a refund. The owner refused and offered her a free 8" cake and asked her what she wanted it and my friend said a fish and owner snapped again and said she could only do balloons or roses. I feel awful for having suggested this place because now her daughter will not be seeing pictures later in life of her first birthday cake. This was a very special day for her family and the cake ruined it!!!! I do not decorate cakes but I could have done a lot better than that.
