I checked into the Hampton Inn and asked the desk clerk where I could get dinner. She said Cattleman's down the road. It's real good she said. Well, if she thinks that is good food I would hate to see/taste mediocre or bad place. I had the pork chop, which I cannot find on the online menu. I wish I didn't find it on the menu in the cafe. I should have left when I was told that they did not have any beer. A dinner restaurant that does not serve alcohol is rather strange. First it said that it was 1/2" thick, juicy and perfectly cooked. I ordered carrots and mashed potatoes, I received broccoli and mashed potatoes. The chop was very hot, which was the only good thing about it. It was about 1/8" thick, tough and dry. The mashed potatoes were cold but the gravy was slightly warm. The broccoli was over cooked and also cold. I have been so turned off by this place I will not even try breakfast at the local pancake house.
