Stepping into the Polar Bar at the Arctic Club in downtown Seattle feels like traveling back in time to a cozy, old-school hotel lounge, complete with amber lighting, wood panel walls, and a grand fireplace that invites relaxation. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, enhanced by friendly bartenders like Michael, who craft impeccable cocktails ranging from classic Old Fashioneds to adventurous martinis, all served alongside delicious appetizers such as truffle fries, calamari, and sliders. Whether gathered around the pool table or nestled into plush armchairs, every visit offers a perfect blend of excellent service, great conversation, and timeless charm that keeps me coming back again and again.

Vintage vibes are making a comeback, and I had a blast hosting a retirement happy hour at the Polar Bar with a group of 30 friends. The food was top-tier, with delicious charcuterie boards and truffle fries, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, thanks to the fantastic service and a charming old-school hotel vibe.
