Food is very basic but tasty- much better than Furrs was. I really like their salads and fried chicken. I consider it comfort food- Cold salads-carrot and raisin, cukes and onion, 3 bean, cole slaw, and various fruit mixtures, jello and tossed. Lots of hot side dishes- love the spinach, broccoli, various kinds of beans, mac and cheese, potato and rice dishes. Besides fried chicken there is usually baked chicken, ground beef steaks with mushrooms, sometimes Mexican dishes, lots of kinds of rolls and bread (taste homemade) and many kinds of tasty pie and cakes (some sugar free) plus your drink.
Never had anything bad- but maybe lackluster but I can depend on it being good quality. Staff are really nice and helpful and it is always quiet, They do not use a lot of garlic, which I like.

Bishops is our favorite restaurant for my wife and I. A very large selection of plain American food. It is a buffet where you go through a line and they serve you. The waitress will go get you more food any time you want. This is the very best place to go if you want to talk! No loud music. It is a quiet place and they leave you alone - except to serve you. They don't try to rush you out. A good and wide selection of food - including salads and deserts, but quiet. They do get very busy Sundays after church and have a long line then. Normally you can get right in. Good for family gatherings.

The pies have gotton sloppy.me and my family have been coming here for awhile so we no how much to pay. For a senior two children and adult it went from 22 dollars to 28dollars in threeweeks. Don't cheat me let prices went up.
