This family-owned Mexican restaurant has been a staple in Wichita since the mid-1960s, known for its authentic dishes and welcoming atmosphere that make you feel like part of the family. The Felipe's special with pork is a must-try, along with the flavorful chile verde and indulgent queso - all served with a side of nostalgia for those who have been coming here for years.

We have been coming here for years. We always have a good time talking to all the family and help. The food is great and consistent every time. We have watched the kids grow up working at the restaurant. The best guacamole in town! Really great Mexican food.

Recently a friend and I decided Mexican food sounded great and always like Felipe's. Was seated and waited 20 minutes, no one took our drink order or got us chips and salsa. Three staff members just looked at us and never bothered to say anything. I was so pissed we left and decided to go to Mexico Viejo, better Mexican food and service.
