El Patio is a small Mexican restaurant with delicious food at affordable prices. The service is quick and friendly, and the homemade tortillas are a must-try.

Since discovering El Patio 30 yrs. ago, it is still my go-to, all time favorite Mexican restaurant in Wichita. It is family owned and operated and they run their business well. The food is always fresh, hot and excellent! It is not a Tex-Mex place. I crave the authentic flavors of their salsa and warmed tortilla chips. They are always happy to customize a plate for you, if so desired. The menu offers a variety of dishes to choose from. I have ordered all the standards many times over the years, but the steak and shrimp fajitas are one of my favorites. The only disappointment is that they shortened their business hours and don't serve Margarita's. Once you give El Patio a try, you too will be craving their food and salsa!
