I feel like the Quality of cheese throughout the years has gone down. I feel like it no longer has "flavor".. I feel the Amount of toppings have decreased.. It would be nice to have crust options. Like maybe a super thin and Krispy. Something they could just buy frozen. Also an Alfredo or ranch/garlic sauce. Maybe a spinach garlic chicken pizza would be nice... I just feel like the prices keep going up throughout the years, and the quality along with amount of toppings they used to be known for, (monster) has declined. I feel they. Should go back to the late 90's.. toppings were extra thick and quality seemed better. Old recipes. Garlic salt not garlic powder. Simple changes could bring the store back to when Kelly ran it..FUN, MORE PROFITABLE, AND BETTER SERVICE/QUALITY. many simple little changes throughout the years have made a huge difference in the quality of pizza that I remember. I also feel like they should promote the black lights and cosmic bowling more on the weekends and for parties. you have to ask for it and they tell you only the weekends. Even then, I never see it. I feel like if they did $1 beer draft or $4 pitchers, large for med charge with a bowling party and played FUN UPBEAT MUSIC with black lights on the lanes during the weekends, parties, and after 7pm, they could be off to a $$$ making adventure and really have people wanting to book birthdays or kids/families wanting to hang out there weekend nights. Drawing in a younger crowd and making D'Mario's a fun "hang out" again ! Not saying turn it into a bar, but use some of the west wichita bowling parties for example. Go in walk around and see the competition. Promote bowling parties and weekends with a fun atmosphere! Turn down the lights and turn up some music.. (keeping the back room a little quieter for those not interested) Also maybe go back to the OLD ORIGIONAL recipes and tell employees to not be skimpy on toppings! then, I believe it would be more profitable, a employees might act like they want to be there. It would then bring more attention/traffic to the fun old D'Mario's it used to be. We order from them on occasion but every time I'm shocked that it costs $50 for a couple pizzas and bread sticks which just aren't the "same" as they used to be. The owners are amazing business men and a good, kind, respectful local family that are also wonderful to work for! . I just think they need a "Lanham" to run the place again. As a former employee I respect the owners and know they will respect and listen to my opinions. But I still worry/hope it's not taken to offense. I know that Jeff or Brett will read this and hope they take my "opinions" into consideration. I feel like they could turn the store into a huge money maker and even MORE of a success with a few simple changes, along with making it the fun D'Mario's it used to be! I'm Just an old employee missing the old Dmarios.. My "advice" is just an opinion but I know they value any that comes along. Keep up the good work, maybe just amp up the amount of toppings, along with pumping up the atmosphere to make it GREAT again! Thankyou for listening to my crap.. lol
From your former employee, friend, and long time customer,
Chanelle Lyons/Zerbe
