The restaurant in Independence is a must-visit, with a warm atmosphere that can accommodate large groups comfortably. The staff is friendly, and the pizza, especially the Perfect 10, is absolutely delicious. While I haven't tried the salad bar myself, it looks fresh and well-stocked. Make sure to include Big Cheese in your plans when you're in town - you'll be happy you did!

From out of town and needed a place to eat. Was told about big cheese. Having not eaten at big cheese in year i went. The person at counter never told us about special of the day. We over paid and when ask was told it already in the oven so could not do anything about it.

The customer service in this store needs serious help. We ordered pizza and salad bar tonight. The lettuce at the salad bar was slimy and when we got our pizza it wasn't cooked all the way. When we brought the pizza up to tell them it was doughy, the girl working the cash register gave nasty looks and made remarks under her breath about it. I'm glad I don't live in independence and next time I visit I will NOT be coming back to this big cheese. Teach your teenage employees how to talk to customers and how to correctly bake a pizza.
